so basically if you haven't been in the understream during the cloberpocalypse then yellow is one of the clobers that I've "cleansed" or gave free will.
protomask lore:
protomask's existence is because the foundation was experimenting on a dollar store mask, trying to recreate 035 and the experiment ended up failing. he can take control of someone but he isn't indestructible and can easily be destroyed by melting him.
