Feature request: Colorable mention backgrounds

Description
It seems like the colorable mention username is a bug, but I feel like it'd be actually cool if you added another feature where it was possible to color the background of the mention using the background tags. ([background][/background]) Just imagine how customizable it'd be for biographies, especially for shoutouts.
