BB Code guide

BB Code is a really simplified version of HTML code used in forums and similar to offer an easy way to format messages.
This site uses an extension called jBBCode to integrate such functionality. Anywhere on the site where you can write comments, descriptions, etc. should be ready to interpret BBCode.

BB code is used through tags inside of claudators. All of them but the image tag are put around the text that must be formatted.

Bold, italics and underlined text

To make bold text, the [b] tag us used.

My name is [b]Demi[/b]. My name is Demi.

Italics text is made with the [i] tag.

[i]BB Code[/i] is really useful, isn't it? BB Code is really useful, isn't it?

To underline text, you must use the [u] tag.

It was [u]Mike's[/u] fault, not mine. It was Mike's fault, not mine.

Links

There's two ways of creating links, as you will see in the following examples. You can paste the raw URL or text that links to the specified URL.

[url]https://www.demirramon.com[/url] https://www.demirramon.com
[url=https://www.demirramon.com]Demirramon's hideout[/url] Demirramon's hideout

Images

Just like the url tag, there's two ways of displaying picures. You can decide to add alternate text or not. Alt text will show up if the image cannot be found.

[img]https://www.demirramon.com/img/icons_site/demi.png[/img]
[img=Demi]https://www.demirramon.com/img/icons_site/demi.png[/img] Demi

If none of these pictures existed, it would show up as the following examples.

[img]https://www.demirramon.com/asdfg.png[/img]
[img=Demi]https://www.demirramon.com/asdfg.png[/img] Demi

Colored text

With the [color] tag you can easily color text. You can do it with color names or with HEX codes.

[color=red]This text is red.[/color] This text is red.
[color=#1E90FF]This text is blue.[/color] This text is blue.

Bullet and numeric lists

With the [ul] or tag [list] you can create bullet lists, and with [ol] and [orderedlist] you can make numeric ones. Then with [li] you can define the items.

[list]
[li]Item 1[/li]
[li]Item 2[/li]
[li]Item 3[/li]
[/list]
  • Item 1
  • Item 2
  • Item 3
[orderedlist]

[li]Item 2[/li]
[li]Item 3[/li]
[/orderedlist]
