The rules

Below are the rules of Demilands.
To be able to join the server you will first need to read them and agree to them.

Tip: you can always read a simpler version of the rules by using the /rules command in-game.

General rules

1. Be respectful, don't use offensive language, etc.


2. Do not cheat, use hacks, or abuse exploits. We will have zero tolerance regarding this.
   Don't steal or grief in unprotected but clearly owned areas.


3. You are responsible for your items. If you die and lose your Angel Chest, exceed the maximum ACs or anything else happens and you lose something we won't bring it back.

Building in spawn town

1. Try to make things look pretty.
   Avoid materials that clash with your surroundings, excessively tall structures, single-block cubes, etc.


2. Don't build on or break the path.
   Ask for permission to re-route it if needed.


3. Don't block or occlude other people's buildings.
   Respect their work.


4. Keep your buildings AT LEAST 2 blocks away from paths and 4 from other buildings.
   Talk with the owner of a building if you want to build closer to it.


5. Keep the size of your buildings in town a reasonable size.
   Ask for permission to build big structures, this way we can ensure it doesn't bother anyone.


6. No farms (crops or animals) inside town.
   You can have a few animals inside your buildings, but keep the number reasonable. Crop farms inside buildings are fine, but if they are automatic they must be toggleable.

Building anywhere else

1. Please have common sense.
   You can build things as large as you want, but make sure it will not be a problem for other players.


2. Don't build farms or mechanisms that can slow the server down if they can't be toggled.
   If you are not online, your farms should be paused.


3. Be respectful to the buildings of other players.
   Even if unprotected. We will not tolerate griefing.


4. Make sure the area you're building in doesn't have its own rules.
   Other players may have built their own towns, bases, etc. If they were there first, you must follow their rules or find a different place.
