Description
Anubis is the God of the Dead in Egyptian Mythology, considered to be fair and just with his judgement.
Often depicted as a jackal headed man with black fur (Associated with regeneration, life, the soil of the Nile River, and the discolouration of the corpse after embalming). Anubis is a major deity in Egyptian Mythology, he was believed to guide souls through the afterlife, and attended the weighing scale during the "Weighing of the Heart" that determined if a soul will was allowed to continue and enter the realm of the dead. Despite not being many major myths, he is frequently mentioned in Egyptian pantheon.
