Akoronoa is a Klonoa Inspired OC of mine!!!
his name comes from my mishearing of the Japanese pronunciation of Klonoa, which I thought kinda sounded funny
He has the ability to generate mist and control it via hydrokinesis. this power is derived from the Echoworld. the pocket dimension was unstable for as long as he could remember, thus granting his initial powers the boost from simple Aerokinesis.
Akoronoa Is a people person, but very timid about it, the kind to go about looking for problems to fix, but shifting off before he could receive more than a thank you.
he's easy to befriend though, as long as you show him kindness.
Likes :
-he loves tabletop games, strategy games in particular, like battle arks (ships), chess, etc
-he likes being pet, but don't tell anyone
-His favorite food is a regurb, a special echoworld dish from grilled schirgol meat and .. something sort of like vegetables? sandwiched in-between two slices of .. something sort of like bread?
-the least bit of warm water that he drinks tastes like heaven to him. no soda or sweet can compare.
boiling water though, is much too overstimulating, though it only sort of burns.
-his favorite ordinary dish on the other hand, is cranberries... with lots of water

He is able to emit mist from his body when he feels lots of emotion, like excess happiness or sadness.
people recount his hugs feeling like a warm shower, even though they don't end up wet when they let go.
He can form lots of things with focus, from pillowy constructs, to water bolts.
he's also particularly clean most of the time. convenient power of harnessing the element of water 24/7.
His powers come with an awful price. very rarely, during intense bouts of emotion, this power can rarely spiral out of control. the powers often already undergo over stimulation according to Ako's mental state, but in cases of extreme emotion, the mist may form around him in the fashion of a blanket, often fashioned into a robe, since it covers his hood and pants seamlessly. he covers his face since in this state, his eyes become nothing short of unsettling to look at, his irises glowing like suns without the shadow over them.
this power though, can be controlled, especially of the strong emotion is of a just cause, or stemming from a positive emotion. his emotions are the main catalyst for the control of his powers after all.
when positive, rather than the mist forming around his body, it illuminates his body
no one has ever seen this though, except for Akoronoa as the light is incredibly blinding, and no one can get a good look at it, not without something that puts eclipse glasses to shame.
