Issue: Hiding profiles not seeming to work

Description
Okay, so I've made a new account and I want to hide its profile from others. I'm aware of the hiding profile toggle in the account settings, so I go there, turn the option on, and save my settings, as you can see here.
So when I switch back to my current main, why is it that the profile is... not hidden? At all?
It's kinda weird, but it seems that the toggle doesn't work for whatever reason that might be.
I've also tried unhiding the comments section, that didn't help at all.
How to reproduce the issue
I don't feel like I need to say this, but I'll say it anyways.
Make a new account.
Toggle "Hide your profile from other users" on your new account.
Save settings.
Swap back to main account and go to new account's profile.
