This is a list of all the significant updates that has been made to the website, sorted from newest to oldest.


UT text box gen v10.1.0

It's finally here, the long-awaited chapters 3 + 4 content.

This update brings a lot of sprites. The characters that got new ones are the following: Ralsei, Susie, Noelle, Undyne, and Pizzapants. Their dark world counterparts have been updated as well. Also, we added sprites from the newsletters for Sans, Papyrus, and Mad Mew Mew!

As for the generator itself, we have brought translations back! Expressions can be in any language now, after being stuck in English for YEARS. We have also brought the sprite resizer popup from the Undertale character editor to here. Hopefully we stop getting questions about the sprite size (if only anyone read the FAQ).

The generator



  • Expression names are translatable again (after so many years).

  • Uploading a sprite that exceeds the limits will now trigger the sprite resizer modal from the character editor.

  • Pasting text into the editor will now ensure it understands line breaks if the pasted text contains any.

  • The content administrator has received a LOT of improvements (so we can put content up more easily).

  • Ralsei


    • Rearranged the order of the sprites a bunch.

    • Added 20 new sprites from chapters 3 and 4.

    • Renamed a few old sprites:


      • concerned to worried

      • concerned2 to scared

      • concerned3 to scared-looking-up

      • excited2 to excited-grin



  • Susie


    • Rearranged the order of the sprites a bunch.

    • Added 18 new sprites from chapters 3 and 4.


  • Noelle


    • Moved all sprites up by 2 pixels to match in-game sprite position.

    • Added 9 new sprites from chapter 4.

    • Renamed a few old sprites:


      • shocked to confused

      • shocked-looking-away to confused-looking-down

      • worried2 to worried-looking-down

      • worried3 to worried-looking-away

      • worried4 to worried-looking-away-sad



  • Noelle (dark world)


    • Moved all sprites down by 3 pixels and right by 6 pixels to match in-game sprite position (why Toby, why).

    • Added missing default2 colored sprite.

    • Added and renamed the same sprites as the light world variant.


  • Undyne


    • Added 6 no-hat sprite variations.


  • Pizzapants


    • Added 7 new sprites from chapter 4.



Undertale sprites



  • Sans


    • Added 2 new sprites from the spring 2024 newsletter.

    • Renamed looking-away to looking-left.


  • Papyrus


    • Added 4 new sprites from the summer 2023 newsletter.


  • Mad Mew Mew.


    • Added 2 sprites from the newsletters with colored variants.
